Upcycled Telephone Lamp – Black Vintage Bakelite Telephone (1955 PTT Model)
Vintage telephone upcyled into an eco-friendly lamp! Unique “HR Giger meets Salador Dalí inspired table lamp or night light. Designed and handmade by HomeMadeKarma.
The telephone model is a black, baquelite “PTT Heemaf ”, with an old-school rotating dial (you remember?). This model was produced between 1955 and 1970 in the Netherlands by the Dutch national telephone company. This specific telephone was produced in 1962 (printed on down side).
Powered with an eco-friendly 3 Watt LED system, (equivalent to 25 Watt bulb), so very energy-efficient. The color is Warm White with a 160 Lumen brightness, approximate lifetime is 30,000 hours. The lamp standard comes with a 230V European plug, let me know if you need a different setting.
